Dog Submerges Herself In Bathtub To Survive Fire
GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. -- A dog survived a raging house fire for six hours by hiding in a water-filled bathtub, according to firefighters.

5. I remember a dog kennel fire in Atlanta years ago...
Where the resident escape artist, a Malamute (IIRC) managed to get himself out of a double locked interior enclosure and open several of the outdoor runs and escaped with a dozen or more dogs. Obviously not all survived, but I never cease to be amazed at what dogs can do.

6. Mia's one smart doggie!
she had to open 4 doors to get to the bathtub, then jump into the bathtub. A ceiling tile had fallen down so that the water the firefighters were pouring into the house to stop the fire, was coming down directly into the bathtub, filling the tub, and keeping her safe from harm! Now that's a miracle!!

Mia deserves LOTS of treats!
