Republican Investigation Redirect may be good

They House and Senate committees have pressure from the White House to end the investigation, but I think they have a couple of problems
1. They know Trump is going down
2. They know some Republicans are in on it
3. They will look really bad if they close the investigation and then it seems they were part of the cover up

So instead they have a win-win by making it appear that they are going after Stein and Clinton, all the while keeping the everything open. This strategy gets them past the holidays, and when the shit hits the fan they can pretend they were investigating Trump all along.

Personally, I think Stein being added is a great development, and hopefully the House will follow the Senate’s leadership here.

by members of Congress/Trump/Stein/Clinton? This is all a dog and pony show by the senate if you ask me.
