The effect of the push to discredit the Mueller investigation

does not seem to be working on the overall population. What it might be doing, is making it harder to put together a jury that would convict Trump or the people close to him. Any criminal conviction needs a unanimous decision. All it would take is one wing-nut to believe it is all a conspiracy against Trump. What Fox News is doing is not in the best interest of the country or the Republican Party. Most of the public sees right through it, and will hold the party responsible. The base of the party has become so small that Fox News is driving the party. Whether this is a coordinated thing or just money and ratings I am not sure.

putting him on trial, or finding him guilty of anything.

It’s about making sure Trump fails to win reelection in 2020, so we’re not only rid of Trump, we’re rid of Republicans in the WH altogether.

The problem isn’t Trump – forcing him out of office isn’t a solution, as Pence is as bad as, if not worse than, Trump.
