Sen. Leahy told Franken that he regretted urging him to resign.

I really do blame Gillibrand. It's clear from the reporting that the Senators took her word for it - and I suppose others leading the charge like Kamala Harris. Schumer did the dirty deed of calling him all day to ask him to resign. But I'm not sure how much Schumer had looked at the facts. At least this is how I imagine it came down. We need to know more. It's not right at all! Especially if done because of sloppiness. Unacceptable!!

... That gillibrand took full advantage of a situation with Rodger Stone and his cohorts fingerprints all over it which landed her exactly where she wanted to be. In the 2020 spotlight. Most of the others followed suit out of fear of being viewed by democrats as KellyAnne Conway is viewed buy them in her defense of the trumpenfuhrer. The House of Cards is crumbling one regret at a time.

On a positive note, Franken may actually be more important and valuable to the cause by being a vocal citizen activist.

They're elected to make decisions. That's their job. Don't blame the freshman senator from New York for their decisions and actions. How long has Leahy been in Congress?

Until this stunt.

And, I refuse to vote for Biden in a Primary -- because of Anita Hill, and because I do not want him to run for President.

Am pissed at Harris and all the rest, too -- they suck.

Not that we have them at this time to give, but I wondered if she thought that pushing Franken out would be a winner with donors?

I really hope she didn't have that agenda. The bad part is that no one is going to admit why they jumped on the bandwagon.

Franken should stay because otherwise this one will hurt the party going forward.
