This is an outrage! I just can't believe they are getting away with this! I have been busy working, but I just checked in and felt my blood pressure shoot up and all my muscles tense up immediately. I am so angry and feel so powerless. I know life isn't fair, but this is just beyond obscene!

Can't certain states Sue to block this?between the obvious self-dealing to Senate and House members who own real estate trust, and the clear intent to fuck over or liberal states, is there no recourse?

They are always looking for ways to game the electoral system, manipulate the media, disenfranchise voters, manipulate local elections, conveniently frame the narrative and use social media fully to their advantage. Never underestimate those fuckers.

But it has occurred to me that the Californians who will be screwed the worst are the wealthy ones who tend (as in Orange County) to vote Republican. Upper middle class and older, Reaganites vote Republican -- and THEIR taxes will go up.

We Democrats are going to work to reduce if not eliminate Republican members of the House who pretend to represent California. Bunch of jerks. Sorry. I'm a kind, old 74-year-old woman, but I do consider Republicans to be jerks. ALL OF THEM.
