Rep. John Lewis: I oppose this conference report with every bone in my body.

I oppose this conference report with every bone in my body. This tax bill is a $2.3 trillion holiday gift for Wall Street, the rich, and the wealthy. Conceived in darkness and birthed with the help of donors and funders. This bill is not for the people. It is not tax reform.

He goes on to say you can't squeeze blood out of a turnip. One of my favorite sayings.

said I could have an implant.
I asked, "How much?'

$3500.!

WHAT???

"Well, you can put it on your credit card."

he is a very good dentist. But does not have a fucking clue how normal human beings live.

I asked, is it absolutely necessary?

He said NO.

well, then, forget it..

i've tried and tried to find the cartoon, but it's too old, from the 80s/90s - at the time i was having difficulty with the IRS.

guy sitting across from an IRS auditor, books and paper on the desk. He's looking at a jar on the desk, and the auditor is saying, "We're especially proud of that. It's blood from a turnip."

maybe you had to be there...

of the wealthiest people who are benefitting from this atrocity. Expose them, let us see how much THEY will gain at the expense of millions of average folks. The gop are shameless, useless, clueless.
