I wrote one of my Senators just yesterday saying much the same thing but adding that I can't believe absolutely nothing can be done about the deliberate attempts on the part of Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, etc, to undermine the Russia investigation (actually isn't that obstruction of justice in itself?) and inciteviolence by laying the groundwork for a violent response/domesticterrorism by 2nd amendment wing nuts they so easily manipulate. That is what is going on .... and it's damn scary. I asked can't anything be done when free speech goes too far? Wonder if I'll get a response.

At the very least, they have to be opening themselves up to obstruction of justice charges at some point. Although I suppose Pirro could plead insanity, Limbaugh could try the drug-addled brain defense, and Hannity can just claim his overall douchiness in all things as a defense.

I do occasionally see some reason for optimism hen our various institutions -- most notably (usually) the courts -- stand up to the dictatorial clown, but that optimism gets slimmer and slimmer by the day.
