Is using the opportunity to do a kushner kicking. Coming out like this against Kushner, suggests to me that he feels there's no evidence against him, so he's free to take a little revenge.

Then he added that obviously there had been an agreement for some time before then. He did not reference at all any inside information. He merely used logic.

This is all paraphrased, but close.

Anyway, of course a public indictment of Flynn that Friday was agreed to much earlier. In a case in which a defendant is cooperating, this gives time for the defendant to make good on the proffer, especially if the defendant is recording conversations or trying to catch others via email. There is nothing odd about that. Papadopolous had a period of a few months between the agreement and the public unsealing.
