Spectators in the Senate Gallery are yelling "Kill The Bill!".

It's 12:30 EST and the Senate is voting and had to stop to restore order. RESIST!!!!

The Senate bill was passed, 51-48, in a vote that didn't come down until 12:45 a.m. ET. The voting was along party lines, with all 48 Democrats voting against the legislation.

I was watching a PBS feed that did not have the Vote on the screen so could not see what they were voting on at the time I posted.

A few minutes later it was obvious..5 minutes to be exact two posts above yours.

And no, the Senate did not pass the bill. The GOP passed the bill. Not a single Dem Senator voted for it. Saying the Senate passed it relieves the GOP of responsibility for this abomination.

Not sure what your issue is. I was watching it live and had been for an hour or so missed the measure that was called for a vote and did not know what they were voting on but the Dems were walking off the floor so it was pretty clear what was going on after a minute or so.

Not sure where you get I think Dems were doing something wrong.
