The next step, of course, is that the ghouls are gonna line up to rent 1690 Paris Street #10.

Reportedly, the phone rang off the hook at the Beverly Hilton Hotel when Whitney Houston died...sick fucks wanting to rent "that room."

My guess is there's going to be a demand for "that apartment," too.

16 years ago, just before I moved into the neighborhood. The store shut down for a couple of years before reopening. It remained a video store until Netflix killed them off. I think it's an appliance and furniture rental place now.

Ghouls never materialized. The store was just shut down until the major mourning period and the first anniversary were over and remained shut for a while after that before reopening.

That mass murder was a couple of substance abusers, one of whom sobered up and told her friends what had happened. They were looking for drug money.

Holmes wasn't a celebrity, and even with all the gun nuts using his actions as a rallying cry to defend the poor, defenseless gun, nobody seems to be hailing him as any sort of hero.
