In addition, I was thinking about how many assets Putin must have surrounding the Dotard alone. Must be dozens of them to keep him in line. I wonder how many are reporting inside info back to their various contacts in Mother Russia? The web has to be expansive.

Whether they knew exactly how much they were being used by Putin, we don't know.
But they were working on Putin's behalf directly or indirectly.

Some of Trump's family members were working with Putin's agents as well, either knowingly or not.

And we know that some members of Congress, including high ranking ones, have taken large sums
from Russian oligarchs.

I feel certain that Putin placed some assets in the media, and within the ranks of TV pundits.

If you look at how he operates in Russia, not too hard to figure out what he is doing here in the US.

The Russians just detested Hillary. That's apparently what their interference was about. Maybe she was too smart for them.

And he needed to get the sanctions lifted in the worst way, as it was detrimental to his vast wealth and might make the Russian people doubt him.

But Trump was cultivated way before Obama and Hillary had power, so Putin seems to have been playing the long game. Probably had a number of pans in place. Jill Stein seems to be connected to Putin as well as Trump.

Yes I would assume there are levels to the assets. Some are direct assets, operatives at the highest levels, others are more duped into operating on the behalf of Putin. Some are in between.

Putin is said to be the richest man on Earth, worth more than $600 Billion.
It appears he wishes to make even more money and to have a great deal of power over as many countries as he can. He has been interfering in European elections as well.

But I think it goes much further than that. He wants to see America in peril. He wants to see us in chaos and ruin. I believe we are still at risk even if Dotard is removed. There are too many players for it to stop just with him.

The other person was insistent that neither the GOP nor Russia had done anything to assist the Green party. In spite of all the evidence to the contrary, this person would not accept the fact that the Green party benefits the GOP and Russian interests. I guess the reason that this person was so blind to reality is because they continue to blame Hillary for Trump's win. (They want to argue that she was a "weak candidate" and that she---and she alone---was responsible.)

I think the denials are not all from wishful hoping that all is so innocent. I do believe there is a wanton deliberateness forwarding a false narrative claiming Stien's campaign was all on the up and up.

It will take me a little time. I have gotten the information I need I just need to sort it out.

People are not aware of the organization Stein directly linked to on her own website where millions for the recount were funneled. This is separate from what she has herself documented. It's a pretty big deal.

I recall her saying the money would go toward voting rights organizations and non-partisan election reform. However, I believe FEC laws state that funds raised for recounts must be used for that purpose and if they are not, the campaign must either refund excess donations to the donors or ask permission to repurpose the funds. Wonder what Jill did with the money? The recounts didn't happen. Hmmmmm

A bit of a different scenario. It's not such a terrible thing to vote your heart in a primary. We had 4 Dems on the ballot in March. Not voting for HRC in that shouldn't be a sin.
