The GOP inflicted mortal injury on the Country with the tax bill.

The Country’s future is to stagger around on the world stage like an ancient mammoth suffering from a multitude of spear wounds. Dangerous yes but terminal. It awaits the next crisis which will be the coup de grâce for the dying beast.
Little Nikki in the UN is another foot stomp of the dying beast. Threatening the UN is perhaps an all time stupid move.
Our cities will start to die due to the new tax structure and Death to Democrats will be a reality.
The thing is-what comes next for the country?
Victory for the oligarchs, civil disturbances or economic collapse? All three? Or something else?
Some folks are saying it will take generations to repair. History rarely allows a nation such a break from events in order for a nation to repair itself. But maybe we get lucky but we already survived the recent 2008 catastrophe. Do we get another shot?

Am I wrong and why? I am looking for hope like so many folks posting today.
