Republicans looked so ridiculous on the White House lawn, clapping for and praising dear leader

They were literally tripping on each other to praise dear leader and how wonderful a leader he is.

N Korea's little dictator gets same kind of clapping and ass kissing wherever he goes in N Korea.

Those Republicans who embarassed themselves while standing there and giggling like little cheer leaders while praising someone who possibly have violated the law multiple times will live in infamy.

but they go ahead and play out their obsequious roles anyway. They don't care about how pathetic they look on camera because they are terrified. Their fawning performance is designed to do one thing, to win Trump's approval so he doesn't single them out for some perceived slight and loose the ravening beasts who voted for him to tear them apart.

The second most embarrassing was the "we love Don" cabinet meeting.

After all, "Lincoln, Washington, and FDR" come to mind, but for Orrin Hatch, Trump's the best. Ick.

Blackmail?

Perhaps they have the valid fear that Trump will expose their complicity with Russia in trying to win elections. When he goes down they know Trump will expose their involvement in order to try to save himself. By ass-kissing Trump, they are praying to their God (wealth and corruption that is) that he will fondly remember how they castrated their dignity and manhood for him. There are some women involved too, but mainly this crime family is for men only. Desperate idiots do desperate things.
