It is early but it is central time here.
I went to see what the noise was about.
The cookies and milk were taken care of.
I saw a present with my name on it.
I just had to open and I received what I wanted.
A new blue-ray dvd player and the 5th and 6th season of the Walking Dead.
Yes I was good this year.

Santa must have been listening.
I suspect more dvds under the tree or gift cards.
Merry Christmas.
Santa was fast.

(20,263 posts)Our first dog. Rescue mostly Doxie and ?
I love her to pieces.
We have no parents left and some family is in another state. We gift people, known and unknown, and that is a present to me.
Did get a complimentary pan of handmade baklava from this restaurant owner, so that could count!

(12,158 posts)Before I was diagnosed diabetic I wanted to make a New England baklava with maple syrup and black walnuts. Who knows, it might have been awesome or awful. I guess I'll never know.

What can I do.
He endorses 'living on the edge' at times.
Merry Christmas Joy to You!

(12,158 posts)Sometimes guilt works- I love you so much and cant bear the thought of living without you. Its a thought. Ive been diagnosed 26 years. Its tough but I like how good I feel when my sugars are in control.

(20,263 posts)Stayed home from work which was astounding. He even didn't mind going to the doc.
Doc said you got something, what it is I don't know but you do have diabetes.
Hub came home a bit upset. I told him it sometimes comes with age. Neither of his parents acquired it and none of his grandparents either. It's weird.
His mom always made delicious, rich meals and finished them off with a dessert even on weekdays. At the least, a dish of ice cream. That's ingrained in him I do believe.
I will tell him that you manage yours and how good you feel when it's under control. Appreciate your words. 💖

(7,673 posts)as not everyone likes them. This year we purchased a 3 foot wall hanging tree. We have a cat that likes to chew on the tree and gets sick from chewing on it. It was a perfect solution for us.
I don't know about you but I'm super excited for the return of FTWD. I hope Nick survived.

He has army of scared people behind him.
All afraid of the world.
Silly plot.
His army would fold like a house of cards.
