Why do they keep calling the appointment of Gorsuch an "accomplishment"?

First, the republicans held up Obama's nomination for almost a year, and then they stretched the Senate rules to confirm him.

Not an accomplishment, a double job of cheating.

an accomplishment and then you had to bend the rules to actually get them appointed. Without the bending of rules this wouldn't of happened....so this is really Mitch Dick's 'accomplishment'...not this scum bags.

But it’s huge and it’s negative ramifications will be long reaching as our system for appointments is now a farce but it absolutely is a horrible but huge accomplishment.
