Status:
--Flake is retiring; AZ is red enough that his seat is a safe R
--Wicker probly safe, not going anywhere.
--Fischer probly safe, not going anywhere.
--Heller could be taken down
--Corker is retiring, it will be a fight to flip his seat, but the alternative is likely Marsha Blackburn (Ted Cruz with lipstick), so we need to loose the dogs of war to do it.
--Cruz is beatable, barring vote suppression/vote rigging, and we need to do it. More dogs needed.
--Hatch will either retire or be primaried, but the seat ain't flippin'.
--"Bareasshole" probly safe, not going anywhere.

That's what we're up against.

I think it might be an improvement on his normal look.

closer than Ohio or Iowa. I have no idea about Democrats in AZ, though. Do any have statewide name recognition to challenge for a senate seat? I think it could be do-able with the right candidate.

But the Democratic Party needs to show some heart and fight this election cycle. The lessons of VA and AL are pretty simple, really. GOTV. Pump up the ground game. Run candidates everywhere, as many as possible, and drop the negative bullshit crying "We can't win there." That's a self-fulfilling prophecy...if we don't run, we can't win for sure. If we actually give people a choice, they just might take it.
