DAILY DESCRATION Of The Presidency Just Too Much To Watch. Like Peeing On A Grave At Natl Cemetery.

The daily desecration of the presidency is just intolerable. It is so painful to witness this desecration daily even hourly. Every news cycle is just plain torture to the mind and spirit. And it is also extremely enraging. You just want to pound the walls and scream.

Cannot even think about it being a happy new year in any way at this point. We still have three more years left in this horrible national disaster. Probably the worst mistake since the beginning of our country really. And it will take a generation to restore any semblance of a reputation.

We are so rogue right now. If he dies or gets sick I will celebrate.

Because pure discouragement and arguing for inattention and powerlessness isn’t a platform for accomplishing anything.

I've thrown my hands up in disgust many times. But this is the kind of thing I focus on now every single day because we must.

Many of us came into 2017 expecting the worst. And in many ways, the worst is what we got. [...]

Yet I’m ending this year with a feeling of hope, because tens of millions of Americans have risen to the occasion. The U.S. may yet become another Turkey or Hungary — a state that preserves the forms of democracy but has become an authoritarian regime in practice. But it won’t happen as easily or as quickly as many of us had feared.
