She is also young and pretty and that counts for some voters. Not being in Congress, she has no record on the tax cut bill and the repeal of health care for millions of Americans. If Trump does not run in 2020 she would be the Republicans strongest candidate.

The GOP hates women. They have few in their ranks and usually told to sit down and shut up. or brought in for a photo op.

They do not care who gives it to them, man, woman, or child (Trump). They are not stupid and know they are weakened among their base voters who are women. While we, on this site; are activist who respond to policy, most voters know nothing about policy and care even less. That is why they vote so often against their own self-interest. For those women, the symbolic act of the first woman president will be enough to wipe out any concerns they have about policy. Remember Sarah Palin was the lynchpin that made Donald Trump possible.

It was Obama that got Trump elected...not himself, yet the fact that he is black. The racism that runs in this country for eons is what won tRump the Presidency. People, especially white men could not handle the fact that an "Upitty Black Man" was elected to our White House and surpassed all the past Presidents. Just look at the closed door meeting on his election day when McConnell said he would make him a one term President and block him in every way.

Well their base may be white women, yet they treat them as lesser humans and deny their rights, The few they have in Government have no voice and no seat at the table and never will.

Remember that really cool meeting they had for women's rights to health care? How many women sat at that table? How many past their prime white GOP men invited their voice to that table. FACT!
