basically it is stuff athletes know not to say before a game because insulting an opponent has a way of having a major inspirational effect on that opponent. the literal interpretation being that the coach would take your quote and pin it to the teams bulletin board for everyone to read and be inspired by.

so you should never say "they have no chance" or "we are going to crush them" to provide motivation to the other team.....

well....... drumpf is providing a tsunami of bulletin board material for all the agents at the FBI...... and i'm hoping for a jutice victory.
