CNN cameras spotted President Trump on the golf course Tuesday at his property in Palm Beach, Fla.
On Monday, Trump had tweeted that he would be getting "back to work" after Christmas.
I hope everyone is having a great Christmas, then tomorrow its back to work ...
Trump previously promised during the 2016 presidential race that he would largely give up golfing if elected.
Tuesday's visit marked his 85th visit to one of his courses as president.
I'm going to be working for you. I'm not going to have time to go play golf.
Believe me," Trump said in Virginia during an August 2016 rally.

(19,204 posts)it wasn't that they liked Trump, or believed he'd do a good job, it was their hate for anything with the name 'Clinton' attached to it. Most of New York State, outside of NYC and a few other pockets of Democratic support in smaller cities, is dead-red. The rural areas are ALL red, but for the life of me I can't figure out why.
About Hillary, it isn't that she'd really done anything wrong, but the Republicans have done a stupendous job of demonizing her for the past 25 years or so. The GOPers have spent well over $100 million trying to pin something on her, anything on her, with absolutely no results. However, the constant pressure from Congressional "investigations" has kept her name in the news in a negative light, and for some people, that's enough. Hillary did win New York, BIGLY but the red-rurals would never consider voting for her.

(19,204 posts)I'll refer to him as "president" (with the quotation marks and small 'p') but I'll never claim him as MY President. The deplorables can have him.

(11,885 posts)Con artist knowingly use phrases like that, and some like trump will repeat the specific lies they want you to believe to reinforce it into your brain , and it works, that's why they do that. with trump you know almost everything he claims is the opposite of the truth, like when he projects what he's doing when he claims others are doing that. Its one of his tells, and if often does that when he attacks others trying to reduce what they may say he's doing. His patterns are very easy to see with everything he says, and does, and why he uses them. They often work.

(15,543 posts)I mean the republicans keep squandering our hard-earned tax dollar to pamper their "billionaire" Comrade Casino, the republican Draft-Dodger-in-Chief, so he can play with his putter and dodge doing the work we taxpayers are paying him to do. The repubes are ripping off the taxpayers twice with this lazy ass, draft-dodging liar.
