Purging of law enforcement agencies is a giant first step to dictatorship

Independent law enforcement agencies, like the FBI, are the only ones standing between a functioning democracy and a one man/party dictatorship.
If Trump can purge the FBI, and dismiss the professionals, he can then be able to use the Justice Department to harass and even imprison his political opponents, on flimsy charges, just like Putin does, with his law enforcement agencies. Mitch Mcconnel is ramming through right wing nut, trump loving nominees through the Federal judiciary, and there won't be much of a hope from relief from the Courts if the systematic dismantling and purging of the FBI, as the Trump Nazis want, is allowed to happen.

Protect the independence of the Justice Department at any cost, or kiss your American democracy good bye.

trump is setting records reshaping courts across the country with trump loyalists (not simply republican judges). Senate has the power to add judges to circuit courts, create additional courts or cut judges. By the time trump is long gone, every circuit court may become right wing, not to mention SC. The effects of that will be felt for decades after trump is gone. This in itself can handicap furure democratic administration and even congress. This is straight from putin’s playbook. Courts can overturn every congress decision as ‘unconstitutional’. For example, SC may strike down such future legislations as medicare for all, minimum wages, unions, etc.

is ascending. The GOP knows how to work stupidity to their benefit, and they have their mouthpiece to millions, Fox News. Kind of like Radio Moscow way back.

Won't surprise me if she tries.

In August,2017, tRump reversed the Obama administrations policy that blocked armored vehicles, large-caliber weapons, ammunition and other heavy equipment from being re-purposed from foreign battlefields to America's streets. That was alarming, in my opinion, at the time it was done and is even more alarming at this time.

It is hard to keep track of all the things that are being done that are more than questionable. I have never felt so afraid of any administration as I do this one.
