I can't stand the tightrope the media walks for drumpf

So I just heard on ABC news that drumpf claims he signed more laws in his first year than anyone ever. ABC news said that it was a "fact disputed by many."

HUH??????????????

You don't have to present "both sides" of a story like this as if there is something to be debated. There is a real, concrete, verifiable NUMBER of bills drumpf has signed. Figure out the number, and put it on the screen. THAT'S IT

but instead they use this language that implies two sides to the story, perhaps to placate the deplorables? Hey, they already think everything you say is fake, and they get all their "news" from Fox and InfoWars, so why even bother to try to warp reality for their sake? JUST REPORT THE FACTS.

Trump bragged that the tax bill was the largest tax cut in history. Not even close. Seventh largest at best. Trump's bragging about the number of laws? Again, and as you said, this is a number that can be quantified. Numbers aren't subject to opinion. "Some people say" the Patriots beat the Falcons in the Super Bowl, but others dispute that because Atlanta was up 28-3 in the third quarter.

It's not a matter of opinion!

First they talk about the draconian tax bill he shoved up America's ass and the 400 lies he told this week, then they immediately get all sparkly-eyed and say, "The president is spending a magical holiday with his loved ones at Dump-a-Ripoff."

"He's taking calls from children!"

"Moronia is serving eggnog!"

Fuck OFF!

It's 6 days old, but not much has changed since last Wednesday.

Notice that for those paying attention, this is a giant steaming mound of snark. Various publications have pointed out very loudly and clearly in the last week or so what the numbers are, and ABC is just responding to Trump's bogus counter-claim.

"A fact disputed by many" just reminds people of what they know. Without pissing off people who wouldn't pay attention anyway.

to say that Trump's FALSE comments about Haitians having aides, Nigerians living in huts, were wrong.

When I see the "reporters" doing stuff like this, I turn the channel.

They and their lack of making Humpty Dumpty accountable for his statements is one of the major reasons there is an orange buffoon in the oval office.

I don't know if the question was supposed to be a 'gotcha', but it sure did frost me. Some viewers may be too stoopid to catch that, and so it continues.

I can't figure Public Media out. One minute they come off liberal, the next minute they appear to be on the darkside.

They will soon learn that in the age of the internet, "both sides" media/sites get clicked away from.

Partisans click over to partisan sites.

Truth and real news seekers click over to true fact sites.

Balance, for its own sake, is never a grace. It is wholly irrelevant to objectivity, to accuracy and to facts.

Circus performers need it, editorialists crave it, but that's about it.

"Dihydrogen Monoxide - dangerous killer or important supplement?" is 'balanced'. It's also idiocy.
