College football on sky cam with no commentators- ESPN Stanford v TCU

I just flipped over to this game. It appears they are showing it from the aerial cam (like a video game)'and there are no commentators just the sound of the crowd.

Unnerving but refreshing in a way.

I'm assuming this isn't a technical glitch.

No, it isn't a glitch. I've watched USC Trojan college football this way many times.

It turns out. My buddies told me to change channels.

Two touchdowns ago - the reverse pass - the kid from TCU barely missed the camera.

on the other hand, the networks would have LOVED for it to be a success. They could have cut at least two/three payrolls.

Go ahead and sell beer with sound, but let us choose to listen to the game with just the PA announcer and referee calls.
