Simply put, 2018 is on track to be the Year of the Angry White College Graduate. Id estimate the college-educated share of the electorate will be around 43 or 44 percent next year, up from 39 percent in 2016. Thats dreadful news for Republicans: These voters have indicated the highest intensity of opposition to Trump in polls, and weve already seen them power Democrats to victory in Virginia and Alabama.
These voters are more riled up than at any point in recent memory. Some of the most worrisome signs for Republicans have been the stark turnout differentials between red and blue precincts, Wasserman warns. In Virginias gubernatorial election, turnout was up 20 percent over 2013 in blue localities versus 13 percent in red localities. And in the six special congressional elections held in 2017, Democrats have averaged 71 percent of Clintons 2016 votes, while GOP candidates averaged just 55 percent of Trumps 2016 performance.
Those angry about President Trump and his assault on our values and democratic institutions might actually relish a meaty, important conversation that treats them like adults. They are fired up, but they are fired up about particular things fiscal irresponsibility, incompetent government (with Congress rubber-stamping ideologically extreme and utterly unqualified people to powerful posts), the GOPs harboring men credibly accused of a pattern of sexual assault (both Roy Moore and Trump), Trumps international bellicosity (too often egged on by those in Congress, as with decertifying the Iran deal without a coherent next step), Trumps attacks on the press and courts and the Trump familys self-enrichment, to name just a few items. Weve suggested Stop The Abusers is a fitting theme to attract voters distressed at the Trump administrations abuse of power (and inability to address Trumps alleged abuse of women).

I like Jennifer Rubin. She is an anti-Trumper who can't be bought.

Rubin attacked Ted Cruz, a Tea Party darling, for criticizing other GOP senators, not for criticizing the Tea Party. Cruz was using parliamentary tricks to hinder gun control legislation in the Senate and then whined at a gathering of Tea Partiers about his GOP colleagues criticizing him for it:
" There are many things wrong with Sen. Cruzs comments, whatever you think of the merits of the gun legislation.
For starters, its just not smart to annoy colleagues whose cooperation and support youll need in the future. Second, as a conservative he should understand humility and grace are not incompatible with standing on principle; the absence of these qualities doesnt make him more principled or more effective. Third, for a guy who lacks manners (see his condescending questioning of Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) he comes across as whiny. They yelled at me! Boo hoo, senator."
Chris Christie is a lot of things, most of them bad, but Teahadist is not one of them.
Rubin should be fired,
Not because shes conservative, but because shes just plain bad. She doesnt travel within a hundred miles of Post standards. She parrots and peddles every silly right-wing theory to come down the pike in transparent attempts to get Web hits," Pexton wrote. "Her analysis of the conservative movement, which is a worthwhile and important beat that the Post should treat more seriously on its national pages, is shallow and predictable. Her columns, at best, are political pornography; they get a quick but sure rise out of the right, but you feel bad afterward.

Because the former ombudsman didn't like her work one is supposed to infer she's a Teahadist ?
We're back to square one. This is from the first articled you cited to demonstrate Jennifer Rubin was a Teahadist:
"Rubin, who fawned over Mitt Romney in 2012, questioned what, if any contribution Cruz was making to the country apart from yelling at people. "
She was a Romney Republican and not a Teahadist. Yesterday's Teahadists are today's Deplorables. Rubin has never been neither.

She might change back to greed one day, but America has to calm the flip down first.
