If people want to use this to draw a parallel with Trump, please ignore this phrase. It's completely unsuitable for the argument.

Trump possesses no talents whatsoever. It is this very fact that inspired people to vote for him. Talentless, brainless, useless people.

Trump, and not Antonio Salieri of Amadeus, is the Patron Saint of Mediocrities...

He is massively talented at playing to people's fears, entertaining people, lying repeatedly, and playing the race card. He has used those talents to wrap the base of one political party around his fingers while betraying most of what that party purports to stand for.

He is ignorant, pathological, and perhaps delusional, but his talent as a con man is evident by the fact he became president.
