Scaramucci Cries 'Fake News' on Story of Him Bragging About Imminent White House Return

Anthony Scaramucci is insisting that the recent reports about him are not true and that he’s not about to get a new job in the White House.

“The Mooch” claims to speak with Donald Trump on a regular basis, and according to The Daily Beast, the former communications director recently told friends that the president misses having him in the West Wing. These associates told the news outlet that it seems like Scaramucci believes he will soon get another whack at a career in Trumpworld.

The Daily Beast noted that there was a lot of skepticism of Scaramucci’s supposed claims of a comeback, and one White House official said: “It would amaze and shock me if the president still talks to [Scaramucci] or is considering re-hiring him after what happened.” Scaramucci denied the story when he was contacted for an initial statement, and he has released several tweets since then about how it’s all “fake news.”
