that govern aircraft design, maintenance and operation as well as pilot certification and training and air traffic control. The aviation industry is one of the most heavily-regulated industries in the U.S. But the FAA is one of those evil federal agencies that enacts oppressive, anti-business regulations, so shouldn't we get rid of it and let the free market decide how airlines should operate?
