Abedin is cover for the hacking

Why the interest in Abedin all of the sudden?
My guess is they want to blame her for the emails getting released. They can claim it is her fault, and to support there was no hacking or collusion.

dishing out conspiracy theories that brand her as a Muslim terrorist, a sympathizer of the Muslim Brotherhood and link her family ties to Saudi Arabia money. Her name evokes all the standard rightwing phobias and unites the base under Trump and his Ban-the-Muslims policies, the Benghazi Tales, the eternal quest for that one damning, but missing, email that will takedown the Clintons forever.

At a time when all the investigations are circling ever closer to Trump himself, Abedin comes with all the juicy code words his crazy supporters love to hate. She the distraction du jour, nothing more.
