Mitt Romney first ran for Senate in 1994, lost to Ted Kennedy. Then

Ran for MA Governor (trampling over the then GOP Lt. Governor who was serving as Acting Governor Jane Swift who was running),
Mitt then didn't run for re-election and instead ran for President in 2008, losing primary to John McCain. Then Mitt ran for President in 2012, losing to Obama. Then Mitt was up for SOS under Trump and lost out to Tillerson.

Noting that no one said Romney should take up knitting, wild to think of him running for Senate from Utah.

Seems like Utah would be prime state for Bannon to back right winger, like Jason Chaffetz. Supposedly Chaffetz said he would not run for Senate but who knows.

Is David Evan McMullin talking about running for Senate?
