And helps promote division.

So of course they do. To expect much else would be lunacy.

If almost everybody rallied around Trump, they'd go the other way.

I vaguely trust the US intelligence services. Not just when they agree with me.

But we need to prove who's pulling the strings in the Trump/Putin camp.

sustained attack. The country is at war, 21st century style. We have Fox News, Alt-right outlets, right-wing nut jobs amplifying Russian propaganda. We have Congress critters calling for a God damn purge of the FBI, a push for a special investigation of Mueller and his team, continued shrieks for a Hillary and Huma Abedin arrest and the Trumpster claiming the Department of Justice is Deep State, a nefarious network of enemies out to 'get' him.

This is a red alert. It's real. It's happening from the outside and the inside. Anyone who pooh-poohs the obvious does so at their own risk and the country's future well-being.

So far, our institutions are holding. But they're under assault, daily, hourly. No one should minimize the danger.
