I had a Facebook page some time ago. I have not posted anything in Facebook in quite some time (got tired of the bullshit). However, I still sign into my page almost daily for one specific purpose.

There are 2 men who post on Facebook who are "relatives of relatives". They are extreme right-wingers, and they post everything publicly on their walls, even controversial things, probably because they are too stupid to know otherwise.

I lurk on their walls to get my information about what the "other side" is rambling about. I never go to any right-wing websites to do this. I simply check out their Facebook walls, because they are very prolific posters.

These guys are the very definition of "pieces of work". Their posts typically consist of the following: 1) George Soros blah blah blah. 2) Fake news posts about President Obama and Secretary Clinton from shady sites. They are doing this even a full year after Trump's inauguration. 3) Random videos of black men performing petty crimes. 4) Posts that rail against the NFL. They have lost their minds on this subject. They hate the NFL, but they have hundreds of posts a week about it. 5) Videos of "entitled liberal snowflakes" expressing an opinion. These videos are complete with out of context commentary. 6) The occasional video of a black person doing something normal. They do this to show that they are "not racists".

I just woke up with insomnia after a typical 2 hours of sleep. I went to one of their Facebook pages. There was a video posted with no commentary at all...it was shared from another site. I clicked on the video. It was of a man holding a baby squirrel that apparently had fallen from a tree. The man was talking to the squirrel and petting it. He walked it over to a tree and helped the squirrel grab on to it. He was encouraging the squirrel to climb the tree with his hand and voice. As the squirrel moved up the tree, from out of nowhere, a cat jumped up and snatched the squirrel. There was a woman out of frame, presumably the guy's wife. I had my speakers turned up, and she screamed in a mournful and horrified way for several seconds. The combination of the sight of the squirrel being taken, and her scream, made me fucking cry.

I am a grown man, and I've seen some bad shit. It usually rolls of me, but anything involving animals guts me emotionally.

I have no business being on this man's facebook page, so I did not respond to the video. It's his Facebook, he can post what he wants to. But this got me to thinking... I think in many cases, there is something really wrong with these fuckers, and it is not just their politics...they are fucked in the head. Why would someone post something like that, without at least a warning? Why post something like that with no commentary? Why would you want to upset people who think they are watching a nature video?

I am not a violent man, but these people...I have fantasies of throttling them.
