Republicans will swear they were only trying to save country from trump

by giving him false loyalty, as soon trump is out if office. They will say, “See, he didn’t blow up the world because we kept the lid on.” This will be their answer to anyone questioning their loyalty to country over party. They will deny being branded as traitors, swear that they were always concerned about Russian meddling and only pacifying trump to protect us.

I hope no one buys it,

Whenever someone talks about “Trumpism”, don’t let them get away with it. This is Republicanism.

He thumped every drum Republicans have thumped for 40 years. Republican voters chose him to be their candidate. His base is the Republican base, the people they rode to power on. Republicans in Congress have occasionally hemmed and hawed, but every time it counted, they backed him.

He is what they’ve spent their whole careers building to. The only reason he’s in power is because of what they’ve done and what they’ve exploited for decades.

He. Is. Theirs.

Always speak of them together, just as Bush did with Iraq and 911. Firmly tie them together, and put down every attempt to pretend he was some kind of meteor that just fell out of the sky, from nowhere.
