(5,269 posts)but then Ross corrected his report to clarify that his source said Trump had directed Flynn to contact Russians (to make friendly overtures) AFTER he had been elected during transition. Seems like inadvertent slip-up that in his haste to cover the story, Ross was not as careful as he should have been to get the specific time line correct with source.
" Ross was initially suspended after he reported incorrectly on live television that fired National Security Adviser Michael Flynn would testify that Trump had ordered him to make contact with Russians about foreign policy while Trump was still a candidate. The report raised the specter of Trumps impeachment and sent the stock market plummeting."

(5,269 posts)and all have been changing their stories when truth has come out from leaks and investigative reporting. But Trump wants Ross to be fired, when Ross quickly corrected his report but even his corrected report stated that Trump was behind Flynn's talking to Kislyak to reassure him about sanctions so Trump undoubtedly knew all about Flynn lying to FBI from the start and has tried to obstruct justice.
