What's with Joy telling Steyer this Congress will not impeach trump?

Annoying to say the least, esp since msm put trump in the wh. Surprised she's closing the door.

And then, in a promo for next segment says why Oprah 2020 may not be such a 'bad' (I forget word she used) idea.

She's right, *this* particular Congress will not impeach him. Hence the MUST WIN status of 2018 for us.

As long as the GOP holds the majority they will do nothing about him. The Dems need to take the House next year for that to be even a possibility.

he says we need to elect a Democratic congress to do that, and to reverse those things that Trump has done.

There was a time we could expect correspondents to actually 'ask' questions, not just give us their opinions.

But alas they love to make themselves the story

see nauseating standing ovations, cheering, good ole boy claps on the back, general carrying on and whooping it up when Trump walks into the House for the State of the Union Address. I wish the Democrats would boycott.

the point is that Joy should not have taken the firm position she did, rather than discussing the issue(s) at hand.

Unless something very damning happens they won't do a thing about him. So far, it isn't hurting their chances for re-election so he doesn't matter.

They will only act if and when it becomes in their own best interest to do so.
