Trump screws up at televised meeting and has to be corrected by Republicans...

In a direct question from Sen Diane Feinstein, Donald Trump responded that the DACA bill could be taken up and passed separately from border security and other immigration issues.

But wait!

That didn't fit with the Republican strategy in negotiating the DACA issue with the Democrats.

In a meeting meant to show the stability and competence of Donald Trump, it only showed that he could not follow the simple direction of his Party and veered off track to agree with the Democrats to keep the DACA bill separate from the other immigration issues.

He was in his element, supervising a meeting, in the middle of a long table, and he still screwed up.

The Republicans will spend the next couple of days attempting to explain what everybody heard him say.

(I are one), but it seems we are looking at a golden opportunity as Democrats to take advantage of this hobbled human being and get him to agree w/ DiFi and others as the moment presents itself.

He so wants to appear as the one who is wheeling and dealing and will go along for the cameras. Don't we have a devious Dem willing to use this?????

He was elected POTUS if he is unfit for office the republicans have a moral obligation to help him into retirement. They are the ones taking advantage of him for their party over country.
Still think the democrats and public should be making a concerted effort to understand why we should be paying for the wall and NOT Mexico as Trump promised.
And where will that money come from? Medicare and Social Security?
We should be asking loudly and often.

BTW this schedule of his should be of as much concern as it is to be ridiculed. They are eother keeping him away from the public and/or he is wilting under the pressure of office and Mueller looming. I don't mean this as empathy or concern for him personally, he IS in a position that carries real responsibilities.

So many of the people on television news are not smart enough to follow what is going on. They were unable to actually analyze what he was saying

I am reminded of the 'interview' done by a public affairs office in Vietnam in the mid-60's: (Note - it was a vastly different time, with a totally different view of acceptable language and attitudes towards people. Be forewarned!)

This is why he hasn't had a press conference in almost a YEAR! When he goes on Hannity, Hope Hicks has the questions sent ahead so he could be prepared. "He's a Fucking Moron"...Good call Tillerson.

The turtle was heard boasting that trump would sign anything put in front of him, which is crazy in itself when you look at the fraught relationship between the two.
