Right wingers are throwing a hissy fit over google calling them out on their bullshit

Nice.

Google’s New Fact-Check Feature Almost Exclusively Targets Conservative Sites

Google, the most powerful search engine in the world, is now displaying fact checks for conservative publications in its results.
No prominent liberal site receives the same treatment.

And not only is Google’s fact-checking highly partisan — perhaps reflecting the sentiments of its leaders — it is also blatantly wrong, asserting sites made “claims” they demonstrably never made.

When searching for a media outlet that leans right, like The Daily Caller (TheDC), Google gives users details on the sidebar, including what topics the site typically writes about, as well as a section titled “Reviewed Claims.”

Vox, and other left-wing outlets and blogs like Gizmodo, are not given the same fact-check treatment. When searching their names, a “Topics they write about” section appears, but there are no “Reviewed Claims.”
In fact, a review of mainstream outlets, as well as other outlets associated with liberal and conservative audiences, shows that only conservative sites feature the highly misleading, subjective analysis. Several conservative-leaning outlets like TheDC are “vetted,” while equally partisan sites like Vox, ThinkProgress, Slate, The Huffington Post, Daily Kos, Salon, Vice and Mother Jones are spared.

They really are a bunch of whinny little bitches.

"Listen up, maggots! You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake." Eventually it morphed into an insult for people acting especially fragile or easily offended. "Oh, aren't you a special little snowflake." Right wingers like to call liberals "snowflakes" anytime the liberals complain about something racist or sexist or otherwise insensitive that a right winger said. If Donald Trump calls for beating up reporters or minorities at one of his rallies and someone calls him out for inciting violence, "Oh, you snowflakes can't take it when he tells a joke."

Something along those lines is where it gained popularity. Of course, in reality, the right wings fakes outrage at the slightest offense, and liberals have taken to saying, "Look who the real snowflakes are."

Edited to add: According to Wikipedia, the epithet snowflake goes back further, all the way to the 1860s, referring to people who opposed abolishing slavery. The modern usage is pretty much what I said above. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snowflake_(slang)

Is not "hip" anymore.

So let the "snowflakes" fall where they may! FYI, the conservative activist alt-right started that snowflake meme as a pejorative against Democrats/Progressives, so they are just taking it back like the Conservatives attempted to take back the rainbow from "teh Gays" https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/we-need-to-take-the-rainbow-back-ark-lights-up-to-show-true-meaning-of-the.

I think they are being more successful!

11. It claims someone is a weakling, easily frightened, panicky, "melts" easily.

It was applied by the right wing to liberals, especially college students who might have carved out "safe spaces" where certain topics or viewpoints are forbidden, such as an LGBTQ space.

Lately it has been thrown back at the RW because they are a whiny bunch who have a meltdown if someone says "Seasons Greetings" instead of "Merry Christmas".

Donald "Bone Spur" Trump (draft dodger) is quite the snowflake himself, being a germophobe, unnerved by staircases, and fearful of palace poisoning at the White House.

I'm not hip, either.

My standard response now when someone calls me a snowflake or refers to democrats, 'Watch yourself and don't get buried in the Blizzard...'

Peace.
