https://www.mediaite.com/tv/watch-kimmels-mini-documentary-commemorating-trumps-2000-lies-in-office/On Wednesday night, Jimmy Kimmel took a moment to acknowledge a milestone President Trump recently reached.
Happy Lie 2K everybody! Kimmel told his audience.
The Washington Post reported on Tuesday that Trump had told his 2,000th lie since taking office last year.
Hes averaging 5.6 false claims a day, which is impressive considering the fact hes only working 2.6 hours per day, Kimmel joked.
Kimmel then noted that throughout his lies, Trump insisted that everyone should believe him. And he played a lengthy montage of many of Trumps believe me moments.

So tonight, were gonna to look back at his many prevarications with the mini-documentary that shows us how we got to this remarkable moment in misrepresentation, Kimmel continued.
The mini-documentary, called Pants of Fire: The Road to 2000 Lies, included many of Trumps most notable falsehoods, from the size of his inaugural crowd, the electoral victory margin, his accusation of President Obama wiretapping him, to his claim that he came up with the term fake news.
Prof. Jakob Milden of Brown University called it the greatest achievement in the history of lying. while Geoffrey Russk a Washington Post fack-checker said Trump was the Babe Ruth of b*llsh*ting.

Video at the link.
It's over 5 minutes, but well worth watching in its entirety,,,including the view of Trump's backside on the golf course near the end, just as the narrator mentions Trump's "pants of fire."

(13,776 posts)4. did you notice that the picture of his pants had a bonus extra?
It's maybe a little hard to see unless you watch it on full screen.
I'd never seen that picture before. I wonder how the White House kept people from publishing it.

I didn't know that. Kind of ironic (and honestly a little disappointing) that it was used in a 2000-lies montage....
