Hear this from pundits and pols all the time. Yet the fact is that tRump is totally predictable. Hes more predictable than anybody else I can think of.

(63,224 posts)He tells half a dozen significant lies daily, yet no one in the MSM calls him on it. At most, they'll cite one his lies and say "he later walked that statement back," or "his aides later clarified." Or they'll describe a statement as "not entirely true" or "at odds with the facts," as though he's a naughty scamp engaged in some lighthearted trickery.
It's a lie, dammit! An in-your-face lie easily exposed as such, yet the media continues to go out of its way to make excuses for him.

(52,317 posts)if you're going to generalize on his inconsistencies, there are many terms you could use.
inconsistent
erratic
volatile
unhinged
adrift
fickle
unreliable
unstable
flaky
you'll note most of them don't have a positive or even neutral connotation.
of all the possible terms, of course they go with "unpredictable", which makes it seem like it's fun and exciting to see what random executive decree will be handed down next.
once again, imagine if obama or hillary were president. there's no doubt that they would totally savage either of them for the slightest bit of inconsistency, but they wouldn't use that term. they'd use one of the more negative ones.
