trumps racist comments about shithole countries is getting deserved condemnation and he is

being deservedly derided for it. But one of the odd things that makes no sense in his world view that he said and is getting little notice or discussion is his lamenting the lack of Norwegians wanting to immigrate to America.

Perhaps he skipped the portion of his daily briefing that extolled the virtues of Norway. Like it’s the number one nation on earth for lifestyle and happiness of its populace. Has very high taxes, excellent medical care, world class education for any who care to take part. Sorta like our social security on steroids.

Of course all this comes at a cost. Very high taxes which the people and corporations pay gladly because it lifts all their boats, so to speak. Very socialistic, and unapologetically so. The people would there would have it no other way.

So what’s with the lamentations and gnashing of teethe over Norwegians? You would think, considering his tax policies and statements, that Norwegians would be the last people he would want to see storming the shores of America, making more equal and equitable for all. More Norwegian if you will. Maybe it’s time we start comparing what our life is like to a country that is truly successful for ALL of its people and not just a select few.
