Why are the Deplorables so obsessed with pedophilia?
It seems like pedophilia is everywhere:

- Hillary Clinton ran a pedophile-ring out of a pizza-place
Plus, those darn liberals are killing children:
- abortion means killing a baby
- according to Alex Jones, NASA has a secret base on Mars where they enslave and eat children (not kidding)
Meanwhile:
* Trump can walk into the changing-room of a teenage beauty-contest and nobody cares
* republican Congressman Mark Foley can hit on teenage-boys and the GOP don't care
* Roy Moore, accused child-molester, got 48.4% of the vote in Alabama
* Evangelicals applaud a pastor for his strength to confess to raping a teenage-girl https://www.democraticunderground.com/1218266373
I don't think that their obsession with pedophilia is actually about PROTECTING children. Otherwise they wouldn't ignore actual pedophilia.
I think, they view children not as people, but as OBJECTS.
Objects that can be used as talking-points against your enemies and ignored when you don't feel like thinking about them.
Objects that count when talking about the national deficit.
Objects that don't count when talking about DACA or CHIP or education or food-stamps.
I think, they aren't talking about "actual" children. They are talking about "hypothetical" children that can be invoked in an argument and sidelined at will.

The fact that Dump and others are normalizing it...have mo consequences for their action... spells moral decay for America. The victims struggle througout their lives, as do their families. Most victims are never heard from even, because of threats to their children, such as losing their mothers, etc.
The fact that we have an admitted one in the WH, plus we almost know there exits more victims than we actually know about, demands an investigation, with immunity for any prior victims. The Pres of the USA, just like lawyers, should be held to a higher standard.
Hold him up to the light and call forth his accusers.
Right now, he is setting a standard that pedophilia is no big deal.
