The audience was ecstatic through out the interview. It was an absolute delight and left me with profound longing for better times.

actually interesting see Letterman take account and ask himself "Why didn't I do more?". Quite a lot about the Selma March, Letterman can barely talk at the end.

Every time that shitheel opens his mouth I'm reminded of how far our country has fallen.

was weeping at the end, and I don't cry easily. I'm trying to process why I was weeping - was it because of how terribly he and his family were treated by certain factions of our country? Was it because of what we had with the Obama family and what we have now and how we could sink so low in such a short time? Was it because I'm afraid we'll never get our country back in my lifetime? Was it because I'm old enough to remember Selma?

Probably all of those things. The United States had an amazing opportunity when he was our leader and this country as a whole didn't allow him to accomplish all that he could have. What a shame.

I wasn't always in sync with Obama's politics, but as a man, as a human being, what a wonderful guy.

and it worked! I should start more days re-watching this, until Obama's next interview comes out!
