About the White House doc's proclamation that Trump is in "excellent health": Rachel Maddow minutes ago predicted that the statement was written by the White House because they simply put Johnson's name after the quote that was presumably stated by Johnson. And they misspelled his first name. It's Ronny not Ronnie.

Imagine: In the last 24 hours, countries worldwide called the respective US ambassadors in for an explanation of Trump's "shithole" comments.

The Wall Street Journal reported today that Trump's personal lawyer paid a porno star $130,000 to keep quiet about her sexual relationship with Trump. She was paid just before the election. CNN reports that the porno star had interviews lined up with Good Morning America and other networks just before the election. The relationship occurred in 2006; Trump married Melania in 2005.

The WSJ is no tabloid. It will be difficult for at least some Republican politicians to call the story fake news as their benefactor, Rupert Murdoch, owns it.

Rumors are that the Trump people also paid off other women who were ready to talk about Trump's sexual relationships. Rumors only so far.

To top it off, Trump's staffers could not manage to set up a conference call with reporters worldwide this afternoon to announce a new foreign policy. They couldn't get it to work. It was a comedy of errors.

And while this was going on, the only item on Rex Tillerson's schedule today was a speech about "The Value of Respect."
