It's his standard protocol. Paying someone to sign an NDA is part and parcel of the same thing.
Once again, I don't really care about his sex life. 
I DO care how much hush money he has been paying and how much he is getting from the Russians in dirty money. As always, follow the money. The rest is window dressing.
