Please stop using the word "snowflake" as a

derogatory term. Why take such a beautiful creation of nature and debase it? It really upsets me that people are doing this. I live in the far north and love the many forms of snow. Being called a snowflake should mean someone who is special. Any way, I think it is mostly used by right wing folks who do not understand that the delicate, fragile, snowflake, is the best part of their amazing beauty.

If they didn't use snowflake they'd just use some other petty insult. The words don't matter, the fact the people think might makes right is the real problem.
