Imagine an *Impeach Trump* march on a scale of the Womens March of last year.

Maybe schedule it for the 4th of July. Imagine the Capitol Mall overflowing with citizens, and a roster of public leaders, activists, and constitutional scholars lined up to speak. Meanwhile similar marches are taking place around the country, in every major city. Speaker after speaker calling out Trump’s many impeachable offenses, as well as the complicity of Republicans in the house and senate. They would also talk about the urgency of the Paris agreement, and escalating nuclear tensions with North Korea, the rise of racism and xenophobia, tax cuts for the rich, cuts to healthcare, and whatever accruing outrages that will occur between now and then. Imagine what it would do to Trump’s snowflake ego, and how it would set the stage for the fall elections.

not there yet. Something positive out of Mueller's investigation might do it.

They’re willfully ignorant. It was easy to see last year, and will be obvious again his year. But not good enough for you, I get it. Good luck organizing the guys- they’ve been at about 30% of the people attenfibg any action protest over the past year, unless you want to count the antifa kids.

How could you miss that? Willfully self-ignorant, perhaps?

Lots of dudes missed the memo, yet they’ve done little on their own. They seem to like to talk more than do though. Lots used the fact that it was a “Women’s march” as an excuse to stay home. I’d love to see a more diverse group of humanity protesting, but it’s been disappointing so far.

Doesn’t obviate might point, however. We’ll see how it’s received in the media. I find your attitude obnoxious and overbearing, and it makes me disinclined to participate.

The march last year was the biggest international day of protest in the worlds history.... and your reaction is “we’ll see”. LOL

Don’t worry, we don’t need foot draggers who minimize our work. Stay home. You were always going to.

There will probably be a march in the town where I’m living, but unless you are hooked into the social media or part of the youth crowd it’s hard to know. I’m well aware of last year’s march. I wanted to attend but had just worked 12 days in a row in sub-zero weather shoveling snow 8 hours a day from the roofs of the schools so they wouldn’t collapse on the kids, and I was exhausted and sick. I spent a good part of the day watching Amy Goodman’s live coverage. I’d like to go to Portland to see my daughter, I’m sure we’d find a march there, but I swapped my car with my ex so she could start a new job in the valley and the car I’m driving wouldn’t make it over the pass.

When I said “we’ll see how the media reports it” I wasn’t disparaging the event. I was simply saying that I suspect the media will downplay the impeachment angle because of the name of the march. But you know that.

I wish you well, bettyellen. May you have a good life. At least you’re on the right side of history. I’m sorry my post erupted into an angry pustule. I’ll bear it in mind when posting in the future.

I hope in the future we may be better strangers.

But if you haven't done so go to NeedToImpeach.com and sign the petition. If we had at least 10 million signers we'd get news coverage. You will not be asked for money. As a matter of fact I haven't heard from the site since signing the petition a month ago.
