This was an important meeting; Trump either said (Durbin and Graham) or did not say (Perdue and Cotton) vicious, racist comments like "shithole" that would be impossible to mistake or forget. Everyone in that room needs to speak up.
Me.

(10,611 posts)When 2 of them both start out with a wishy-washy "I can't recall" then both conveniently change to "he didn't say it", they are BOTH LYING.
The question should turn to why they are so easily manipulated.
The RWer Erick Erickson's tweet observing that Trump called people to boast that the comments would go over well with his base support it.
The only thing Trump (Putin) is trying to do is obfuscate and create a false 'reality' for his Trumpsters where no one can be sure if he really said it or not.
Bullshit. I would bet a paycheck on it.

Cotton and Perdue choose to give a version they think will be of advantage to them. Durbin took the path of simplicity, and just repeated exactly what he heard. Notice that the lowlifes never specifically say what they DID hear--they just claim what they "don't recall" having heard.
