Vigil in Nebraska after dyke & cu** carved into local woman.

It's not surprising that the woman, who will literally have scars from her attackers, doesn't want to release her name. Anyone who knows a GLBTQ individual in Nebraska should openly state their acceptance and tolerance as often as possible. Maybe then people will get the hint that this behavior is considered abhorrent.

The article doesn't talk much about evidence except the woman couldn't describe them because of the masks. I guess time will tell.

I think she should be given the benefit of the doubt, bit these carving stories (like backwards B girl) often turn out to be attention-seeking hoaxes.

Sorry if I offended anyone.

and yet GLBT folks are attacked frequently by bigots. Why do you think this woman faked this? What evidence of that do you have. Your suspicions are ugly and have nothing behind them. It is far, far more likely that she was attacked as she said.

If such fakes happen often, then you'll have no problem finding examples to show us. Please do that or retract your ugly statement.

that this woman is faking this? How odd. That would be my last thought, and only after seeing some evidence of that.
