He will not suddenly give up grifting just because the government shuts down. He'll go off and let congress sort it out. It's not like he wants to be involved in the procedure. McConnell will tell him when the final bill is ready, and he will sign it. All he is capable of is sending out tweets about how crooked and obstinate the Dems are being.

When that final bill is ready for his signature, he will tweet about how he forced congress to come to an agreement to end the shutdown. Mark my words. HE WILL CLAIM RESPONSIBILITY FOR ENDING THE SHUTDOWN. His base will applaud and shove his tweet in our faces. His cabinet will have an asslicking meeting. Then we will move on to the next terror.

I honestly feel better having him on the greens than in the WH.

It pisses me off that we have to pay for his golf outings, but I would rather have him on the golf course than anywhere near the levers of power, especially in a crisis situation.
