Madam Secretary episode tonight is mimicking our reality with Trump ...

The President on the show is losing it. He threatened military force towards Russia (in this case) in an off-the-cuff comment to reporters after an odd, sonic attack upon the US embassy in Bulgaria. Several things he said in his discussions with his Sec. Of State and CoS were uncharacteristically bizarre.

At least it was something that was treatable. And they used Section 4 to induce him to use Section 3.

Pres. Dalton will likely return to his job since it was a treatable condition.

I think he has a dark spot on his soul, on his heart, if there was a metaphysical reason for his hatred. More likely, it is just his psychopathy, narcissism, and hatred. He was raised to hate.

but that episode really made me lose it, for the way our country is right now not some place to trust, is not some place with enough good people to protect us all, and is not some place where doing the right thing matters, at all.

The laws on the books right now are meaningless as long as the crooks can cheat, lie, supress the vote, gerrymander the districts, allow foreign states to rig elections, and allow foreign money to sway ignorant voters.
