Hint that Bannon wants a deal with Mueller?

https://www.rawstory.com/2018/01/bannon-strikes-deal-with-mueller-to-avoid-grand-jury-testimony-in-trump-russia-probe/

Just in: Steve Bannon struck a deal with special counsel Robert Mueller’s team and will be interviewed by prosecutors instead of testifying before the grand jury, a person familiar with the process said (via @KaraScannell)

Bannon’s attorney told the House Intelligence Committee on Tuesday that the former Breitbart News chief and White House official would openly speak with Mueller because executive privilege would not apply.

Now what would Bannon tell Mueller that he doesn't want a grand jury to hear...

Fired from the White House.

Fired from Breitbart.

Seemingly unaccepted apology.

Dude's run out of friends, and that's a prosecutors wet dream.

This might lead to him spilling his guts for Mueller, or it could lead to a 5th Amendment shut-out. I can't predict. Bannon is a loose cannon.

i.e. if he needs to make a plea deal with Bannon, so be it.

Given that he also likes chaos - this can easily be a win-win for him. I do not see much of a down-side for Mueller.

Also, given Olberman's earlier statement, I think this is also theatrics to cover his commitment to flipping.

If he's offered immunity, he CAN'T take the Fifth. OR if he enters his plea BEFORE he's asked to testify under oath (which in this case, he almost certainly would), he also can't take the Fifth.

that was the reason he was excommunicated.

donnie didn't just dump him (which he's done to others), he spread the word in republican circles that he was persona non grata (which he has not done to others).

to me this smells an awful lot like a response to betrayal, and betrayal far beyond simply calling him a "f*cking moron".

my guess has been that he was trashed because they found out he flipped. maybe he was wearing a wire and got caught.

in any event, my guess is that he flipped some time before he got the sack.
